Crock Pot Mississippi Roast



4 pounds of chuck roast.

1/4 cup of unsalted butter.

1 packet of ranch dressing mix.

1 packet of au jus gravy mix.

5 pepperoncini peppers.


Step 1

First, put the chuck roast in the base of a crock pot or slow cooker.

Step 2

Then, place the chuck roast in the crock pot, add butter, sprinkle with ranch and au jus mixes, and add peppers, whether whole or sliced.

Step 3

Finally, cover the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Shred the meat just before serving.
