PISTACHIO PUPPY CHOW

 


INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

8 cups (200g) rice cereal squares (e.g., Chex)

1 cup (175g) semisweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup (120g) creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter

1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups (175g) powdered sugar

1 cup (120g) shelled pistachios, roughly chopped

Optional: extra powdered sugar for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS:

1st Step 

Prepare a large mixing basin by placing the rice cereal cubes inside.

2nd Step 

Put the chocolate morsels, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave-safe receptacle of medium size. Stir vigorously between 30-second intervals, and microwave the ingredients until the mixture is homogeneous and thoroughly combined.

3rd Step 

Combine the vanilla essence with the chocolate and stir to combine. This will imbue the mélange with a delectable profundity of flavor.

4th Step 

Assemble the rice cereal squares with the chocolate mixture. Stir while gently folding to ensure that the cereal is uniformly coated with the chocolate mixture.

5th Step 

Put the granulated sugar into a large, airtight plastic bag. This will be utilized subsequently to coat the chocolate-coated cereal.

6th Step 

Transfer the cereal coated in chocolate with care into the container containing the granulated sugar. Shake the bag gently while securely sealing it to ensure that the cereal is completely coated with powdered sugar.

7th Step 

Add the minced pistachios to the container of cereal once it has been thoroughly coated with granulated sugar. Re-seal the container and incorporate the pistachios into the mixture by gently shaking it.

8th Step 

On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, disperse the Pistachio Puppy Chow. Let it solidify and settle for approximately thirty minutes. After it cools, you may add more powdered sugar if you want.

9th Step 

Transfer the Pistachio Puppy Chow to a hermetic container for storage once it has completely chilled and hardened, or serve it in dishes for refreshment. Indulge in the enticing amalgamation of chocolate, pistachios, and peanut butter.
