Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 beaten eggs
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or similar buttery crackers
½ cup butter, cut into small pieces
½ teaspoon garlic salt
Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Place a few pieces of butter in a 9×13 pan and melt in the preheated oven. Ensure even coverage by spreading melted butter around the bottom, eliminating any dry spots.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the crushed crackers, garlic salt, and black pepper.
In another medium-sized bowl, dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat it thoroughly in the cracker mixture.
Arrange each coated chicken breast in the pan, and place the remaining butter pieces over the top.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Enjoy the crispy and buttery goodness!
