BANANA CAKE RECIPE

 


Instructions:

Prepare the Banana Puree:

Peel and chop the bananas, then place them in a bowl.

Mash the bananas with a fork until they form a smooth puree-like consistency. Set aside.

Prepare the Batter:

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs vigorously until they double in volume.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Add the melted butter, sugar, milk, vanilla essence, salt, and a dash of vanilla to the whisked eggs.
Mix in the flour and yeast gradually, stirring until well combined.
Gently fold in the reserved banana puree.

Baking:

Preheat the oven to 190ºC (375ºF).
Grease a baking sheet with butter.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cooling:

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about an hour.
After cooling, remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
