How to Use Vinegar, Salt, and Water to Transform Your Room

Materials Needed

  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons salt (sea salt or table salt works fine)
  • A glass or bowl
  • Optional: Essential oils for fragrance

Method 1: Air Purification

This technique focuses on improving the air quality and energy of your room.

Step 1: Prepare the Solution
  1. In a glass or bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of salt.
  2. Stir the mixture until the salt completely dissolves.
Step 2: Place the Solution in the Room
  1. Place the bowl of vinegar and salt solution in a central area of your room or wherever odors or negative energy seem concentrated.
  2. Leave the bowl undisturbed for 24–48 hours.
Step 3: Observe and Replace
  1. After 24–48 hours, observe the solution. If the water appears murky or cloudy, it may have absorbed impurities or negative energy.
  2. Dispose of the solution by pouring it down the drain, and repeat the process as needed.

Method 2: Cleaning Surfaces

For a deeper transformation, use the vinegar and salt solution to clean surfaces.

Step 1: Mix the Solution
  1. In a spray bottle, combine 1 cup of warm water, ½ cup of vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of salt.
  2. Shake well to mix the ingredients.
Step 2: Clean Your Surfaces
  1. Spray the solution on surfaces such as countertops, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
  2. Wipe with a clean cloth or sponge to remove grime, stains, and buildup.
Step 3: Add Shine
  1. For glass surfaces, buff them with a dry microfiber cloth after cleaning to add a streak-free shine.

Method 3: Energy Cleansing

This method is ideal for creating a calm and balanced atmosphere.

Step 1: Add to Corners
  1. Pour the vinegar and salt solution into small bowls and place them in the corners of the room.
  2. Leave them overnight to allow the mixture to absorb negative energy.
Step 2: Dispose of the Mixture
  1. In the morning, pour the solution down the drain.
  2. Rinse the bowls thoroughly before reusing them.

Optional Step: Add a Pleasant Fragrance

If the smell of vinegar is too strong for your liking, add a few drops of essential oils (like lavender, lemon, or eucalyptus) to the solution. This will leave a fresh, lingering scent in the room.

How Often Should You Use This Method?

  1. Air Purification: Use weekly or as needed, especially after cooking or when the room feels stuffy.
  2. Cleaning Surfaces: Apply every few days or during regular cleaning routines.
  3. Energy Cleansing: Perform monthly or whenever the room feels heavy, tense, or unwelcoming.
