Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef Bites & Potatoes Recipe
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Slow Cooker
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 2: Season the Beef
In a large bowl, toss the beef bites with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Step 3: Sear the Beef (Optional for Extra Flavor)
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil. Sear the beef bites in batches for about 2-3 minutes until browned. This step enhances the depth of flavor but can be skipped if you’re short on time.
Step 4: Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker
Place the halved baby potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the browned beef on top. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Pour this mixture over the beef and potatoes.
Step 5: Slow Cook
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
Step 6: Thicken the Sauce (Optional)
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Step 7: Serve and Garnish
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy this delicious, buttery garlic-infused meal!
