Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

Mix wet ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

Mix dry ingredients – In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Combine – Gently fold dry mixture into wet mixture until just combined (don’t overmix).

Bake – Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool & enjoy – Let cool 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
