Crockpot lasagna is a simple, hands-off way to enjoy this Italian classic. Layers of rich meat sauce, creamy cheese, and tender noodles come together effortlessly in your slow cooker, giving you a comforting, hearty meal with minimal effort.


Ingredients:

Meat Sauce:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef or ground turkey

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce

  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste

  • 1 tsp dried basil

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cheese Mixture:

  • 15 oz (425g) ricotta cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • 9–12 lasagna noodles (no-boil or pre-cooked)

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)

  • Cooking spray
