Easy Crockpot Turtles

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Melt the Chocolate

    • Add almond bark chunks, semi-sweet chips, and milk chocolate chips to your slow cooker.

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour (don’t stir until the hour is up).

  2. Stir in Pecans

    • After 1 hour, stir until smooth and fully melted.

    • Mix in pecan halves until coated. Cover again and cook on LOW for 15 more minutes.

  3. Prepare the Muffin Tins

    • Line muffin tins with paper liners.

    • Place one caramel candy in the center of each liner.

  4. Assemble the Turtles

    • Spoon warm chocolate-pecan mixture (about ¼ cup each) over each caramel, covering completely.

  5. Set the Candies

    • Cool at room temp until firm, or refrigerate for 30–45 minutes for quicker setting.

  6. Serve & Store

    • Remove from liners and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

💡 Tips for Success

  • Go Low & Slow → Never cook chocolate on high or it may scorch.

  • Shortcut Version → Swap individual caramels with Rolo candies for an easy caramel-chocolate combo.

  • Scoop Neatly → Lightly grease your cookie scoop or spoon with cooking spray for cleaner drops.
