No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the Pan
Grease a 9×9-inch square pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2 – Make the Oat Base

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Stir in the brown sugar and vanilla until well blended.

Add the oats and cook over low heat for 2–3 minutes.

Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Set aside the remaining oats for the topping.
Step 3 – Chocolate Layer

In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the pressed oat layer, spreading evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
Step 4 – Add the Topping
Sprinkle the reserved oat mixture over the chocolate layer. Press down gently so it sticks.
Step 5 – Chill & Serve
Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours or overnight. Allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cutting into bars.
