Slow Cooker Sticky Honey Soy Chicken Wings

Instructions:

  1. Place the chicken wings in your slow cooker.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, ketchup, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the wings, tossing to coat evenly.

  3. Cover and cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–3 hours, until wings are tender.

  4. Preheat the broiler and transfer the wings to a foil-lined baking sheet.

  5. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl to make a slurry. Stir it into the leftover sauce in the slow cooker and heat until thickened.

  6. Brush the thickened glaze generously over the wings.

  7. Broil for 3–5 minutes, until the edges are slightly caramelized and sticky.

  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Tips & Variations:

  • Flavor boost: Stir in 1 tbsp hoisin sauce or a squeeze of lime juice.

  • Meatier option: Use chicken drumettes for larger portions.
