Beer Cheese Bread

 



Instructions (Step by Step)

Step 1 — Prepare the Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with 1 tablespoon of butter and set aside.

Step 2 — Mix the Dry Ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together:

    • flour

    • sugar

    • baking powder

    • salt

    • garlic powder

Step 3 — Add Cheese & Chives

  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.

  • Stir gently to distribute them evenly throughout the flour mixture.

Step 4 — Add the Beer

  • Pour the entire 12 oz of beer over the dry mixture.

  • Stir until the batter is just combined — do not overmix.

Step 5 — Fill the Pan

  • Transfer the batter to the buttered loaf pan.

  • Pour or brush the melted butter over the top of the batter.

Step 6 — Bake

  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 7 — Cool & Serve

  • Let the bread cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
