Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven
    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.

  2. Mix the casserole base
    In a large bowl, combine hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream soup, melted butter, onion (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is creamy and evenly coated.
