Steps

1. Prepare the basics

2. Mix the dry ingredients

In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cream until smooth and creamy.

4. Bring it all together

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula until just combined—don’t overmix or the cake gets dense.

5. Add the good stuff

Fold in the fruit and chocolate, distributing them evenly through the batter.

6. Bake to perfection

Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
