Cozy Fruit & Chocolate Cake
Steps
1. Prepare the basics
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper so the cake lifts out easily.
2. Mix the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
3. Blend the wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cream until smooth and creamy.
4. Bring it all together
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula until just combined—don’t overmix or the cake gets dense.
5. Add the good stuff
Fold in the fruit and chocolate, distributing them evenly through the batter.
6. Bake to perfection
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Make it beautiful
Let the cake cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar for a soft, cozy finish.
