Ooey Gooey Bars
Instructions
Step 1 — Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2 — Prepare the Crust

In a bowl, mix softened butter, 2 cups flour, 2 cups sugar, and 2 teaspoons vanilla until crumbly but holds together when pressed.

Press about half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
Step 3 — Make the Filling

In another bowl, beat eggs until smooth.

Add 1 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons vanilla, melted butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until creamy and fully combined.
Step 4 — Assemble the Bars

Pour the filling over the prepared crust.

Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture evenly over the top.
Step 5 — Bake

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the filling is set but still soft in the center.
Step 6 — Cool and Serve

Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before slicing.

Cut into squares and enjoy the ooey-gooey goodness!
