Pecan Cheesecake Pie


 

Steps

1. Prepare the crust

Place the unbaked pie crust into a pie dish and set it aside.

2. Make the cheesecake filling

Beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread this creamy layer evenly over the bottom of the crust.

3. Prepare the pecan layer

In a bowl, whisk the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Stir in the chopped pecans.

4. Pour and layer

Gently pour the pecan mixture over the cheesecake layer. Do not stir — the layers will bake beautifully on their own.

5. Bake

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45–55 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is golden.
If the edges brown too quickly, cover them with foil.

6. Cool and serve

Let the pie cool completely so the layers can set. Serve at room temperature or chilled for a more cheesecake-like texture.
