Ragtag Candies

 



Instructions (Step by Step)

Step 1 — Prep Your Pan

  • Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper so the candies don’t stick.

Step 2 — Prep the Mix-Ins

  • In a large bowl, combine:

    • Rice Krispies

    • crushed pretzel sticks

    • roasted peanuts

  • Gently toss them together so they’re evenly mixed.

Step 3 — Melt the White Chocolate

  • Add the white chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl.

  • Microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and fully melted.
    (Or melt over a double boiler if you prefer.)

Step 4 — Combine Everything

  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal-pretzel-peanut mixture.

  • Stir gently until every piece is coated in a glossy layer of chocolate.

Step 5 — Form the Candies

  • Using a spoon, drop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.

  • Leave space between each mound so they don’t stick together.

Step 6 — Let Them Set

  • Allow the candies to cool at room temperature until firm.
    (For quicker setting, place the tray in the fridge for 10–15 minutes.)

Step 7 — Serve & Store

  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.

  • They stay fresh for up to one week.
