🍗 SLOW COOKER WHOLE CHICKEN – A SUNDAY HUG ON A PLATE

Out here in the Midwest, a whole roasted chicken is about as close as you can get to a Sunday hug on a plate. Long before fancy gadgets filled our kitchens, my mother would slide a chicken into the oven early in the morning and let it slowly perfume the house while we went about our chores.
This slow cooker version keeps all that old-fashioned comfort, but makes it easy enough for busy days, full schedules, and tired evenings. Set it before church, and come home to a meal that feels like home.
