CHEESEBURGER SPRING ROLLS

How to Make Them

1
Cook and drain the beef
10 minutes

In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and diced onion together until the meat is fully cooked and onions are translucent. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Drain the mixture completely in a colander, pressing out excess fat. Let cool to warm room temperature.

2
Create the filling mix
5 minutes

In a bowl, toss the cooled beef mixture with the chopped American cheese and diced pickles until evenly distributed.

3
Wrap the spring rolls
10 minutes

Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Place about 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling in the lower center. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, tuck in the left and right sides tightly, and roll upward. Brush the top corner with your cornstarch paste to seal it closed.

4
Fry to golden perfection
5 minutes

Heat 1 inch of oil in a heavy skillet to 350°F (177°C). Fry the spring rolls in batches for 3 to 4 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are deeply golden brown and crispy. Drain on a wire rack.

Air Fryer Alternative: If you prefer to skip the deep-frying, brush the rolled spring rolls generously with oil on all sides. Air fry at 400°F (204°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are beautifully golden and crisp!
