Ultimate Smash Burger Patty Melts with Oozy Melted Cheese
Ultimate Smash Burger Patty Melts with Oozy Melted Cheese
There are burgers, and then there are these — golden, buttery, crispy-edged smash burger patty melts that will genuinely make you stop mid-bite and question everything you thought you knew about comfort food. The moment that molten cheese cascades over the edges of a perfectly seared beef patty tucked between two golden-toasted brioche bun halves, you know you've hit something truly special.
This recipe is the lovechild of a classic patty melt and a smash burger. You get the crackling, lacy crust of a smashed beef patty combined with the gooey, ridiculous cheese pull of a diner-style melt. Serve these stacked up on a wooden board with a little pot of ketchup on the side, and watch them disappear within minutes.
