CHRISTMAS EGGNOG BREAD

 


Ingredients:

Two eggs.

One cup of sugar.

Half a cup of butter, melted.

One cup of eggnog.

Two tbsp rum flavor extract.

One tsp vanilla extract.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour.

Two tbsp baking powder.

Half a tsp salt.

1/4 tsp nutmeg.

Instructions:

Step 1

To start, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), then, grease the bottom of a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2

After that, in a large bowl, whisk the eggs, and add the sugar, melted butter, eggnog, rum flavor extract, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Step 3

Then, in a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Then, gradually add the dry ingredients to the eggnog mixture, and blend.

Step 4

In this step, pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.

Step 5

Next, bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 6

Finally, allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to finish cooling, and once it's completely cool.
