CREAMY GARLIC SHRIMP

 


Ingredients:

One-pound peeled shrimp.

4 cloves finely chopped garlic.

One cup of fresh spinach.

1 cup cream.

1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese.

Optional: 1/8 teaspoon paprika powder.

One tbsp butter.

1/4 tsp paprika.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions:

Step 1

First, warmness oil in a huge frying pan over medium-excessive warmness.

Step 2

Then, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.

Step 3

After that, cook the shrimp for 30 seconds on each side, then remove them from the skillet.

Step 4

If needed, add more oil, then cook the garlic and ground red pepper for 15 seconds.

Step 5

In this step, add the fresh spinach, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 6

Next, pour in the heavy cream, add the fresh Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper if needed, then, cook for 6 to 7 minutes or until the mixture is well thickened.

Step 7

Then, once the sauce has thickened, return the shrimp to the pan, cover with a lid, and cook for an additional 30 seconds over low heat.

Step 8

Finally, garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Tips:

- Finely chop garlic and avoid burning to maintain its rich taste.

- Adjust salt, pepper, and paprika to your liking.

- Simmer cream and Parmesan until it thickens for a velvety sauce.

Variations:

- Add red pepper flakes or cayenne for a kick.

- Experiment with fresh basil or parsley.

- Mix in diced tomatoes or sun-dried tomatoes.
