Hashbrown Casserole

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen shredded hash browns, melted butter, condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, diced onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Stir the ingredients together until well combined, ensuring that the hash browns are evenly coated with the creamy mixture.
  4. Transfer the hash brown mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out into an even layer with a spatula.
  5. If desired, sprinkle the crushed cornflakes evenly over the top of the casserole to add a crunchy topping.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.
  7. After 45 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
  8. Once baked, remove the Hashbrown Casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Slice the casserole into squares and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
