Salted Caramel Banana Bread

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and brown sugar to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
  3. Mix in the vanilla extract, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense loaf.
  4. Gently fold in 1/4 cup of the salted caramel sauce, swirling it through the batter to create a marbled effect. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup of salted caramel sauce over the top of the batter.
  6. Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Carefully transfer the loaf to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. If desired, drizzle additional salted caramel sauce over the cooled banana bread before serving. Slice and enjoy this indulgent Salted Caramel Banana Bread with a cup of coffee or tea for the ultimate treat.
