Method:
Prepare the Cheesecake Mixture:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add the milk and heavy cream, and blend again until well combined. Set aside.
Make the Cherry Slush Base:
- In the same blender or a separate blender, combine the frozen cherries, cherry juice or water, lemon juice (if using), and honey or sugar.
- Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and slushy. Adjust sweetness to taste by adding more honey or sugar if desired.
Layer the Slushes:
- In tall glasses or jars, alternately layer the cherry slush mixture and the cheesecake mixture.
- Start with a layer of cherry slush at the bottom of each glass.
- Pour a layer of the cheesecake mixture on top of the cherry slush.
- Continue layering until the glass is filled, ending with a layer of cherry slush on top.
Garnish and Serve:
- If desired, top each Cherry Cheesecake Slush with a dollop of whipped cream.
- Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling or fresh cherries on top for extra flavor and decoration.
- Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs or crushed graham crackers to mimic the crust of a cheesecake.
Enjoy Your Cherry Cheesecake Slushes:
- Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to mix the layers together as you enjoy the creamy cheesecake flavor combined with the fruity cherry slush.
