Garlic Steak and Potato Foil Packets

 


Instructions

1. Preheat (if baking):

  • Oven → Preheat to 425°F (220°C).

2. Mix & Season:

  • In a large bowl, combine steak, potatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Toss until evenly coated.

3. Prep the Packets:

  • Divide mixture evenly onto four 12×12-inch sheets of aluminum foil.

  • Fold edges tightly to seal into packets.

4. Cook Your Way:

  • Grill/Campfire: Place packets over high heat, about 10 minutes per side, until steak and potatoes are cooked to your liking.

  • Oven: Arrange packets on a baking sheet and bake 20–25 minutes, until potatoes are fork-tender and steak is done.

5. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Carefully open packets (watch the steam!).

  • Garnish with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

  • Serve straight from the foil or plate for a rustic presentation.
