⭐ Crinkle Cake

 



Crinkle Cake — also known as Phyllo Crinkle Cake or Crinkle Custard Cake — is a dessert that’s crispy on the outside, soft and custardy on the inside, and unbelievably easy to make.
It’s one of those “dump, fold, and bake” treats that always tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen!


🍽️ Ingredients

For the Phyllo

  • 1 package phyllo dough (16 oz), thawed

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted (or 1/2 butter + 1/2 oil)

For the Custard

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 3 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • Zest of 1 lemon or orange (optional but amazing)

For the Syrup (optional)

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
