Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Rolls
Without pulling them apart, slice the entire package of rolls horizontally to create a large “top” and “bottom” slab.
Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
2. Layer the Fillings
Add a generous layer of ham, followed by Swiss cheese slices.
Place the top slab of rolls back on.
3. Make the Buttery Topping
In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and poppy seeds (if using).
4. Brush & Soak
Brush the buttery mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls—make sure it drips slightly down the sides for maximum flavor.
5. Bake Until Melty
Cover loosely with foil and bake until the cheese is melted.
Uncover for the last few minutes to lightly toast the tops.
6. Slice & Serve
Cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
